When most people hear the phrase, "When life gives you lemons...," they typically finish the sentence with something about making lemonade. I think that's a great way to use lemons, but I really love when this phrase is not used in such a literal way. We more often than not choose to use this phrase when we've been given an opportunity, whether we were working for and expecting it or not, and proceed to seize this opportunity and make something out of it. When life gives you a "sign," or throws something in your path that can help you achieve a goal, go after it! You'll never regret trying something or further pursuing a dream, but you will look back later in life and kick yourself if you didn't. So, when life gives you lemons...plan a vacation to explore somewhere new...start that business that you've been dreaming of...or follow the footprints of Adrianna Papell and create a gorgeous print that you can wear all summer long.

P.S. If you're dying to wear this dress to the office, but your company likes to waste money on over air conditioning your space to a seemingly Arctic-like temperature, layer a white collared button down underneath! Happy shopping Loves! xoxo

I don't know about you, but I'm SO over winter weather and clothes. I think I probably stand in my closet for a solid 20 minutes before work every morning lately trying to figure out what to wear; I'm sick of wearing sweaters and pants, but it's still too cold for dresses and all of my cute clothes that come along with warmer temperatures. The weather definitely feels like it's starting to transition though (Yay!!), which means I can break out some cute, kind-of-springy outfits. Stripes, which I consider a classic that never goes out of style, are going to be bigger than ever this year. Trust me. And they also give off a spring vibe in my book, especially when paired with bright colors like this green jacket from Relativity! I snagged this jacket at a sample sale at work last summer, but I've already seen many different brightly colored spring jackets in the stores (we're talking bright pinks and blues - and this is just the beginning). I paired my outfit with tan leather booties from Vince Camuto since it's still a little too cold for an open toe, but once the weather warms up, a strappy wedge heel would be perfect with this as well! OH, and the sunnies - can't forget those! I found these this weekend at TJ Maxx, and couldn't believe what a steal they were. I'd never heard of Marilyn Monroe Eyewear before, but I definitely recommend checking out their website for some fun new shades! Jeans and booties linked below. xoxo

Screen tees. Eyelash sweaters. Acid wash denim. All of these are appearing on the fashion scene in a huge way, and what's more fun than wearing these three trends together? This outfit is perfect for a casual Friday at the office, or Saturday morning brunch with friends, both of which make the week just a little bit better. Graphic tees have been around forever, but what really caught my eye with this one is that the saying has actual meaning. We should be more thankful for the good things in life, whether it's family and friends, crisp fall weather, or acid wash denim making a comeback. Find a pair with a little destruction (also huge this year), and don't forget to cuff the bottoms - I found these at Express, and they are one of the comfiest pairs of jeans I own. Throw on an eyelash sweater in a jewel tone color (they are unbelievably soft), and you're set to go. Not feeling a cardigan? Switch it out for a white blazer to class it up a bit, or go without a third piece and make the screen tee the main event.
