The little white dress, or LWD as I like to call it, is a summer staple that should be hanging in your closet and ready to go at any moment. Is this really just a summer staple though? Not in my book. The days of only wearing white between Memorial Day and Labor Day are over - I break this rule all the time! There's just something about a white dress that gives off a fresh and cheery vibe, no matter what time of year it is worn. This gorgeous little number from Tobi (www.tobi.com) goes above and beyond though. I'm absolutely loving the floral lace and ladder detailing - it truly takes this dress to the next level! I accessorized with super fun beaded and tassel drop earrings (these are super lightweight and can be worn all day long!) and sparkly block heels - no necklace needed for this dress because of the keyhole silhouette. What summer staples do you swear by? Have you found your go-to LWD?! Leave a comment below! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Happy Thursday lovelies! Only one more day until the weekend!! Does anyone have any fun events they're looking forward to? I'm crossing my fingers for some nice weather so I can twirl around in this little number on a rooftop somewhere!

Ruffles are everywhere this season, and I love how this dress combines them with the cold-shoulder trend to make a bold, yet not over-the-top statement. It's eye-catching, comfortable and can be dressed up or down - how many dresses can you say that about?? I decided to accessorize with a floral applique clutch and sparkly block heels for a dressy casual date night look. If you're wanting something a little more low key, simply pair with some white sneakers. Keep necklaces and earrings to a minimum here though as to not take away from the ruffle details - this should be the focal point of your outfit! And as an added bonus, ASOS is having a huge 50% off sale right now! If you need me, you know where to look. Happy shopping loves! xoxo

With off-shoulder tops only increasing in popularity this summer, my closet is gaining more and more of them. The one problem? Even though my office has a business casual dress code, off shoulder tops are not seen as appropriate workwear because of the "shoulder-baring" aspect of this style. Of course, I needed to come up with a way to get around this so that I can show off this cute trend - one idea that came to mind was layering a tank underneath, essentially turning my off-shoulder top into a cold shoulder, and I'm SO happy with the final look! A little creativity and time to dig through my closet was all I needed to take this top from strictly weekend wear to office appropriate - all styles linked below! Happy shopping loves! xoxo

Happy Thursday loves! I am SO excited to be showing you this outfit - I've been wearing each piece separately on repeat, and can't get over how well it all came together for this look! This is easily one of my favorite outfits so far this summer! I don't know about you guys, but I love mixing unexpected patterns to change things up every once in a while. This combination works for three reasons:

  • The color palette between the dress and sandals mixes well and doesn't clash - the commonality of white in each pattern helps tie these together!
  • The prints are not overly loud - since they aren't "screaming" at you when you look at them, there isn't one pattern that takes over the total look.
  • The two prints are far enough apart from each other that it's almost like you're looking at one print at a time.

Also, this denim jacket is to die for - light wash and destructed is very in, and darker wash jackets are fading out. The denim jacket itself will never go out of style, but the popularity of wash/details and silhouette will change. This is the perfect third piece to complete any outfit for your summer nights! And these gingham sandals? So on trend right now. Get your hands on anything gingham that you can - this is the print of the summer! Happy shopping loves! xoxo
